The Clearfield Jefferson Drug and Alcohol Commission, in partnership with PennDOT, and several others will conduct a virtual Town Hall Meeting on Underage Drinking on April 13.
The Town Hall Meeting begins at 6:00 pm. and registration is required.
PennDOT notes that participants may register up until the start of the event and should be logged on no later than 6:00 pm. The event is open to the public.

York County prison warden to take over as director of 6 Human Services agencies

York County Prison Warden Clair Doll has been chosen to be the executive director of York County Human Services department, according to a press release.
Doll will oversee six Human Services agencies – Area Agency on Aging; Children, Youth and Families; Health Choices; York/Adams Mental Health- Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities (MH-IDD); York/Adams Drug and Alcohol Commission and the Youth Development Center.
He will start in his new role with the county on May 3. Deputy Warden Adam Ogle will assume leadership in an interim capacity after Mr. Doll’s departure, the release said.
Fayette County will be part of a new initiative that provides Narcan at no cost to county jails across the state.
During a Wednesday meeting of the Fayette County Prison Board, Sheriff James Custer said the Pennsylvania Sheriffs Association partnered with the Pennsylvania Commission on Crime and Delinquency (PCCD) and Vital Strategies to increase Narcan access for those returning to communities after incarceration.
The sheriffsâ association, under a grant received from Bloomberg Philanthropies and Vital Strategies, will provide outreach, assistance and training to individuals working and placed in county correctional facilities on the use of Narcan for drug overdoses.
Custer, who is president of the sheriffsâ association, said the county prison can place orders, and Narcan will be sent to the prisons at no cost to the counties. He added that, in Fayette County, the supply sent to the prison wonât affect the supply with the Fayette County Drug and Alcohol Commission.

York County s prison warden will now serve as the county s executive director of human services.
Clair Doll starts his new job on May 3, according to a Thursday news release from York County spokesperson Mark Walters.

Doll took over as York County Prison warden in May 2017 but had previously worked there for nearly two years as a treatment supervisor before taking a job with the Pennsylvania Department of Corrections, according to Walters.
