A 23 year old has opened a New York-style gym believed to be the first of its kind in Liverpool. Lauren Caffrey, who decided she wanted to run her own gym at the tender age of 14, has now realised her dream and opened The Zone in Wavertree. Before the pandemic, Lauren visited New York three times and fell in love with the high energy atmosphere she found in the city’s gyms, combined with how impressive they looked. Wanting people in Liverpool to have the same kind of experience when working out, she set about bringing the concept here.
