A former Chesterfield doctor has been suspended for a third year due to previous serious and persistent dishonesty.
Dr Stephen Macshane, a former associate specialist in emergency medicine at Chesterfield Royal Hospital, who had already been suspended for two years, has now been given a further 12-month suspension.
The punishment was handed out by the Medical Practitioners Tribunal Service, with the case brought by the General Medical Council at a hearing which concluded last week.
