SAGINAW, MI The Saginaw County Health Department is hosting two walk-in COVID-19 vaccination events Friday, April 9, and Saturday, April 10.
The two events are open to Saginaw County residents and feature two types of the vaccine. The first, which features the Pfizer vaccine, began at 9 a.m. and goes until 3:15 p.m. Friday, April 9, at UAW Local 699, 1911 Bagley St. in Saginaw.

Starting next week, the Saginaw County Health Department will be vaccinating four categories in parallel: remaining adults 65+, adults 50+ with underlying health conditions, caregivers/guardians of special needs children, and additional critical infrastructure workers. SAGINAW, MI The Saginaw County Health Department has had a busy week, with the recent expansion of COVID-19 vaccine eligibility to adults age 50 and older.
The vaccination of adults age 65 and older is progressing rapidly and winding down, according to health department officials, with last-call communications going out instructing those not already scheduled or vaccinated to call 989-771-1010 to make an appointment this week.
