A PROUD mum is delighted her kids are doing their bit to help the community with litter. Malvern Hills District Council launched its adopt a street Malvern Hills , encouraging the community to keep where they live looking clean and tidy. Mum Katie Baker from Kempsey said: We’re just one family of many who already collect litter in the village, it’s another way to keep active as well as doing something useful. “We joined the adopt a street campaign, through Malvern county council and received our free litter picking kit last week. Along with many others in the village we are working to make the village a cleaner place.

Laois Offaly Gardaí in association with Supermac’s are delighted to announce the Laois Offaly Garda Youth Awards 2020.
The awards celebrate outstanding young people between the ages of 13 and 21 years.
The awards lot of good work is being done by young people in every community throughout both counties, which should be awarded.

BOSTON COLLEGE HIGH SCHOOL
The following Rockland students were named to the honor roll at Boston College High School: Denzel Cofie, high honors; John Ryan, honors. To qualify for high honors, sophomores, juniors and seniors must achieve a quality point average of 3.8 or higher and freshmen must achieve 3.6 or higher. To qualify for honors, sophomores, juniors and seniors must achieve a quality point average of 3.2 or higher and freshmen must achieve 3.165 or higher.
