Grade: Easy, no stiles but with a steep slope
At more than 400 acres, Alyn Waters is the largest country park in Wrexham and lies either side of the River Alyn.
Woodland, grassland and riverside trails are way marked to encourage visitors to explore the diversity of the Gwersyllt and Llay sides of the park.
There are purpose built ‘access for all’ paths and cycle ways providing safe cycling for all the family. Most of the paths are wide and surfaced, and offer excellent access for wheelchairs and pushchairs.
Please be aware that there is £1 charge for parking at Alyn Waters, which is used towards the upkeep of the park. Dogs are welcome on this walk but please keep your dogs under control.
