Synergy celebrating dethroning That’s Ya Problem for the Softball League title

Trying to prevent a sweep on Sunday after rains wiped out Saturday’s game, defending Women’s champions That’s Ya Problem raced to a 5-1 lead over Synergy, who led the Astros-Atoms Softball League best of five Championships Series, 2-0.
Then it went downhill from there and fast from the second inning, as Synergy would outscore That’s Ya Problem 16-2 for a 17-7 victory and complete the sweep. Jelissa “Shelly” Potter hit a 2 run single as Synergy pulled within 5-3. She stole second and third , then scored on a pass ball to make it 5-4, then tied the score on the next play.

As such, the softball governing body needs to take urgent action to re-elevate it to local, regional and international competitiveness and prominence. The exuberance of its glory days needs to be recaptured.
