BAGUIO CITY – A total of 23 individuals were charged with falsification of public documents and for violating Republic Act 11332, the Mandatory Reporting of Notifiable Diseases and Health Events of Public Health Concern when they tried to enter the Summer Capital with fake travel documents.
Police Col. Allen Rae Co, city director of the Baguio City Police Office said the two recent arrests were made on Jhecill Montero Abrigo,27, of Purok 4, Kias PMA, Baguio City, and John Patrick Gonzalez Castillo,27, of Dahlia St., San Luis, Baguio City.
The two were onboard a Honda Civic bearing plate number XSA 456 and passed through the Quarantine Checkpoint at Purok 3, Irisan at about 3:45 p.m. of December 20 when they were flagged down for travel documents verification.

Metro Manila (CNN Philippines, December 18) The Cordillera regional police office said it has dissolved its drug enforcement unit after two of its officers were tagged as suspects in the killing and beheading of a man from Baguio City.
Regional Director PBGEN R Win Pagkalinawan on Friday told reporters the over 30 personnel of the regional office were moved to the provincial drug enforcement unit. This singular event brought down the morale of the whole Police Force of Cordillera but it is worth noting that it was we ourselves who investigated, identified and be the ones to file the case against the perpetrators, notwithstanding the fact that they are our brothers in arms,” the chief later said in a statement.
