CANTON A 26-year-old man, allegedly secretly living in a local apartment utility area, is accused of starting a fire there.
Dominick D. Davis, who provided a Rowland Avenue NE home address, was arrested by Canton Police Friday evening. He s charged with aggravated arson and remains in the Stark County Jail.
According to information in his arrest warrant, Davis had unknowingly been living in a utility area at Skyline Terrace. The complex is located on Alan Page Drive SE.
The court document states Davis set fire to his jacket, on or about Thursday, causing damage to the room. At the time, the apartment complex was full of tenants.
