Windows 10: Neues Performance-Update löst FPS-Probleme in Spielen
Mit dem Windows 10-Patch KB5004296 rollt Microsoft ein optionales, kumulatives Update aus, das sich primär auf die Performance-Probleme in Spielen konzentriert und mit einer Vielzahl an Bugfixes daherkommt. Es steht ab sofort für die Versionen 21H1, 20H2 und 2004 bereit.
Im Vorfeld des kommenden Patch Days im August können Windows 10-Nutzer durch die manuelle Suche nach Updates den Download und die Installation des KB5004296-Patches anstoßen, der das Betriebssystem auf die Builds 19041.1151 (2004), 19042.1151 (20H2) oder 19043.1151 (21H1) aktualisiert. Das kumulative Update ist vor allem für diejenigen interessant, die seit Monaten mit niedrigen Frameraten (FPS) und einer verminderten Leistung in Spielen zu kämpfen haben. Microsoft konnte ein Problem in den Energieplänen und dem Spielmodus ausmachen und dieses entsprechend beheben.
