Baron Construction & Remodeling Co - Project Photos & Reviews - Saratoga & Los Angeles, CA US

Client STAY AWAY. Worst experience we have ever been through. I can go on and on in details but TL;DR; - these guys are money-pullers. We hired them for a very major house remodel ($500k+). In the beginning they will give you a nice appealing quote, not a cheap one, top dollar, you definitely can find a better quote, but Baron s reputation appeals. You sign contract and then nightmare starts. Forget about finishing project on time, double or triple it. They will start on the project by opening everything up, then will stall project as much as they can, so nobody shows up on job site, periodically someone appears and does a little. Nobody supervises subcontractors, and these do mistakes all the time. As soon as you are on the hook with them, they will initiate their game of Change Orders , finding out that something costs more then what they originally thought, and that thing can be 15%-25% of you original quote.

For plants building ENERGY STAR certified manufactured homes, $0.35/kWh is also available for homes that are 15 percent more efficient than code. West Penn Power (FirstEnergy utility) 724-830-5454

Industry Wins a Round Over Building Efficiency Requirements

Industry Wins a Round Over Building Efficiency Requirements New regulations prohibit cities from enacting stricter efficiency standards in new buildings. March 11, 2021, 9am PST | Diana Ionescu | The International Code Council, a private consortium that controls building code regulations for most of the United States and Latin America, has voted to reduce the power of cities and local jurisdictions over building efficiency requirements. The decision came more than a year after the construction and gas industry groups that wield heavy influence at the International Code Council objected to aggressive new energy codes for which government officials voted, reports Alexander C. Kaufman in the Huffington Post.
