Octane Coffee, an automated drive-thru coffee business, is coming to Pewaukee after the common council approved the proposal April 19.
“Think Starbucks drive-thru but robots inside making all the drinks,” said founder and CEO Adrian Deasy in March. “No lobby. No bathroom. No nothing. Just a cute little coffee hut, and it’s fully automated.”
The Waukesha startup plans to open the location later this year.
Where is it?
The standalone business will be in the north parking lot of W229 N1400 Westwood Drive. Currently the building houses Veloce Indoor Speedway, Battle House Tactical Laser Tag, RiverGlen Christian Church and Point Burger Bar.
Cooper County Public Health Center Administrator Melanie Hutton has issued a “big Shout Out” to the Cooper County Health Department Staff and Board of Trustees, Cooper County Emergency Management Agency, City of Boonville, Boonville Police Department, Boonville Parks and Recreation, MU Nursing Students, Riverside Christian Church, Cooper County Commissioners, the Cooper County Road Crew, Lance’s Landscaping and private citizen volunteers.
