I’ve noticed little improvements to things my neighbours and myself use and large improvements for people new to the North Shore. The Tranquille upgrades with new restaurants are nice and a welcome sight, but after reading an April edition of Kamloops This Week, I feel uneasy. Firstly, complaints directed toward the homeless camps on the beach I understand frustration from residents on Royal Avenue; however, these people have no place to go. Secondly, I’ve noticed a lot of condominiums rise up over the past five years, but nothing for people struggling with money issues, addictions or diseases who can’t afford these new residences.
