The City of Prince Albert has announced various current and future road and lane closures happening in the community.
Until May 17, First Avenue from 17th Street to 18th Street West will be closed as city crews will be digging to replace a water main.
Starting today, the City closed a lane on Second Avenue West at the intersection of Marquis Road until May 20 for concrete work.
Also just for today until 4:30 p.m., there will be lane restrictions on the Central Avenue viaduct so crews can clean salt off the concrete.
Starting Friday at 8:30 a.m. there will be lane restrictions on the CN bridge and Shellbrook overpass to clean the bridge.

DULUTH, MN (KDAL) – The 2nd Street improvement project, that begins on Wednesday in Duluth, will have a significant impact on patients and visitors to the Essentia Health downtown medical campus.
The six month project will close 2nd Street between Fourth and Fifth Avenues East this week and between Sixth and Ninth Avenues East starting May 3.
Meanwhile, Fifth and Sixth Avenues East will become one-ways between Second and Third Streets. Traffic on Fifth Avenue East will travel down the hill, toward Second Street; on Sixth Avenue East, it will travel up the hill, toward Third Street.
Road construction season has arrived and one project in downtown Duluth will have an impact on access to certain facilities at Essentia Health and they d like the public to know where to go.
According to officials at Essentia Health, the City of Duluth’s utility and street-improvement project will significantly impact patients and visitors on Essentia Health’s downtown medical campus. Phase 1 of this six-month project begins Wednesday, April 28, and there are three total phases.
Beginning April 28, Second Street will be closed between Fourth and Fifth Avenues East. Second Street is also expected to close between Sixth and Ninth Avenues East on May 3.

East Second Street in Duluth will be closed between Fourth and Fifth avenues east for construction starting Wednesday.
The closure, which runs through Essentia Health s downtown campus, is part of the first phase of the city s six-month utility and street-improvement project, Essentia announced in a news release Monday.
In addition to the block s closure, Fifth Avenue East will be a one-way street going down the hill, and Sixth Avenue East will be a one-way street going up the hill between Second and Third streets.
