Pet Food Company Expanding in Clinton – More Jobs Could Come

By News Director Jared Atha Red Collar Pet Foods in Clinton has announced that it is embarking on a $5.7 million expansion at their manufacturing plant located one mile south of I-40 on US Highway 183. The move could potentially add more jobs. The new 85,000-square-foot warehouse will be built on the south side of the existing building to help meet the high demand for products, and is on the heels of the company’s expansion of its packaging capabilities. Construction is set to begin at end of the year. The current workforce at the Clinton facility is 111. A fourth shift added at the end of 2020 resulted in 20 new hires. Nationwide, Red Collar has almost 800 employees at its six manufacturing facilities across the United States and its corporate offices in Franklin, Tennessee.

Construction is expected to begin at the end of the year on the Clinton, Okla.-based plant.  “The Clinton plant continues to be one of our fastest-growing plants in Red Collar Pet Foods’ coast-to-coast network,” said Greg Wolking, chief operating officer, Red Collar Pet Foods. “When completed, the warehouse expansion enables capacity for future growth and additional hiring.”

Vanderbilt.edu reports the association bills itself as the world’s largest interdisciplinary research association devoted to the scientific study of education and learning. Milner’s presidency will begin at the conclusion of the association’s 2022 annual meeting. With a focus on urban education and teacher education, Milner examines the social context of classrooms and schools and studies how teacher discourse, particularly about race, influences student learning, identity and development. He serves as the founding director of the Initiative for Race and Justice at Peabody and was elected to the National Academy of Education in March 2021.
