While it may be because no one in the house wants to cook, the suggestion can be bolstered if necessary by an appeal to the greater good: we’re commendably community-minded when we support Manitoba’s eateries that have been hard hit by pandemic restrictions.
The next decision is which app to use for delivery: SkipTheDishes, DoorDash or Uber Eats?

The pandemic has vastly accelerated consumer reliance on digital ordering, and, like many restaurant chains, Burger King parent Restaurant Brands International Inc. is leaning into convenience-driven technology enhancements.
In October, the company unveiled a new restaurant-of-the-future drive-thru prototype for Burger King and Tim Hortons, with sister-brand Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen soon to join in. The modernized restaurants will include digital screens, “predictive selling” technology to offer special promotions based on previous orders, integration with loyalty programs and remote, contactless payment.
