Moody Gardens In Galveston Open Christmas Eve And Christmas Day
If you have no plans and are looking for something to do on Christmas Eve or Christmas Day, Moody Gardens will be open with a lighting display second to none in the area. Last month, the Festival of Lights at Moody Gardens began and will run through the beginning of January.
The main feature is, of course, the Festival of Lights featuring a mile-long pathway to walk through over two million lights and displays, but they also have many other cool events.

Some of the other neat things you and your family can enjoy are the Arctic Slide, Rudolph 4D, and holiday 3D feature films in the 3D and 4D theaters. The 4D theater is really cool, as it brings all your senses alive with smells, vibrating chairs, and even a little mist in the theater while the movie is shown.
