Vince stars with 95 in Sixers BBL final triumph

England s James Vince blasted 95 and took a crucial catch as the Sydney Sixers downed the Perth Scorchers for their third title in Australia s Big Bash final in Sydney on Saturday.
Vince s fireworks propelled the Sixers to 188 for six and they restricted the Scorchers to 161 for nine to win by 27 runs.
Coming on the back of an unbeaten 98 against the Scorchers, Vince again blitzed the Scorchers bowling, surviving two dropped catches in the 80s before he was dismissed just five short of a century in the Sixers 188 for six.
Sydney Sixers wicket-keeper Josh Philippe has been sensationally run-out after a series of comical events during the Big Bash final against the Perth Scorchers.
He looked set for another big performance, smashing Jason Behrendorff over the rope for six in the third over.

With Phillppe and James Vince getting the defending champions off to a perfect start, it would all come crashing ground in bizarre fashion as Vince faced up to Andrew Tye.
Vince would flick the ball into his pads, leading to Phillppe attempting to burst through for a single.
