I was about to say that I hadn t seen any stand-up in a while, but then it occurred to me that I haven t seen anything in a while. The fun thing about seeing stand-up from amateur or unfamiliar comedians, is you have no idea what you re going to get. It could either be tears in the eyes hilarious, or tears in the eyes cringy, both can be entertaining, unless you re an absolute non-fan of second hand embarrassment.

Have you been to Stave and Hoop yet? Probably not, considering most of us stay home, isolated, tapping away at our laptops on the couch, ordering take out. Stave and Hoop is a new speakeasy style bar, restaurant, and music venue in the heart of downtown Missoula at original site of the Garden City Bottling & Liquor Company. I randomly stumbled upon it one day as Oliver and I were taking a shortcut through the alley at The Sweat Shop studio and there it was, looking all secret and classy with their alley entrance.
