PORTAGE, MI (WKZO AM/FM) The Portage Senior Center is hosting a drive-thru COVID-19 vaccination clinic next week.
It takes place on Wednesday from 1:00 to 5:00 p.m.. Advanced Health Pharmacy in Portage will administer the Moderna vaccine by appointment only. A second drive-thru clinic will be held on Wednesday, June 2nd from 1:00 to 5:00 p.m. to administer the second dose. And individuals who have had the first dose of the Moderna vaccine but missed their second dose can also schedule an appointment there to get the second dose.
âWe are grateful to Advanced Health Pharmacy for partnering with the Portage Senior Center to offer this vaccine clinic,â said City Manager Joe La Margo. âGetting people vaccinated is a critical step in combating the pandemic and we are happy to play a role in the effort.â

PORTAGE, MI Anybody 18 and up who is still looking to get vaccinated from the COVID-19 virus will have an opportunity to do so next Wednesday in Portage.
The Portage Senior Center, in partnership with Advanced Health Pharmacy, will host a drive-thru COVID-19 vaccination clinic from 1-5 p.m. on Wednesday, May 5 at the senior center, located at 320 Library Lane.

KALAMAZOO, Mich. â As vaccinations ramp up, health officials are working hard to make sure they re available to the hardest hit communities: people of color.
There are over 785 people signed up to receive their COVID-19 vaccine in Kalamazoo s Northside neighborhood on Saturday and Sunday.
It is all made possible by a pharmacy in Portage who secured 2,500 doses that the state was working to distribute to underserved populations.
