VALDOSTA, Ga. (WTXL) â Moody Air Force Base has extended the ban of active-duty personnel on visiting bars and nightclubs to now include off-base indoor dining restaurants.
Moody AFB officials announced the ban as part of the base raising their Health Protection Condition to Charlie level Friday, the second-highest level just below Delta, âin response to the increased number of positive COVID-19 cases on base and in our local communities.â
âHealth Protection Condition Charlie takes effect when there is a substantial threat of disease to the community and it allows the installation commander to direct additional measures to protect Airmen, their families, and the local community,â the press release from Moody AFB said.
