The Health Care District of Palm Beach County will begin providing the Pfizer COVID vaccine for children as young as 12 beginning next week, through a walk-up vaccination site in Lantana.
The CDC has signed off on allowing it for 12 to 15 year old kids after the FDA gave its approval.
The vaccine will be available for people of all eligible ages through a mobile unit set up outside the district s clinic at 1250 Southwinds Drive, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday.
Anyone under the age of 18 must bring a parent or guardian with them.
The Health Care District has been phasing out its mass vaccination sites in favor of using the mobile clinics in targeted areas.
