KHULNA, May 05, 2021 (BSS) – With the decreasing trend in the daily coronavirus (COVID-19) infections in recent days, the recovery rate from the lethal virus also rises and currently stands at 90.20 percent in the division.
“A total of 28,493 COVID-19 patients healed till Tuesday out of total 31,586 infected with the recovery rate of 90.20 percent,” Divisional Director (Health) of Khulna division Dr. Rasheda Sultana told BSS today.
The 28,493 recovered COVID-19 patients include 8,007 in Khulna, 5,701 in Jashore 4,368 in Kushtia 2,542 in Jhenaidah, 1203 in Satkhira, , 1135 in Magura, and 794 in Meherpur districts.
Talking to BSS, Assistant Director (Health) Dr. Ferdoushi Akter said 154 more COVID-19 infected patients recovered in last 24 hours till today noon, raising their total number to 28,493 in all ten districts of Khulna division.

KHULNA, May 2, 2021 (BSS) – With detection of 39 new more positive cases in the past 24-hour, the total number of COVID-19 infected patients in the division now reached 31,318, said a COVID-19 quarantine and isolation related daily report today.
“We received 156 samples in Khulna Medical College Hospital (KMC) and other samples in Jashore and Kushtia laboratories in the last 24 hours till this noon and 39 persons have been diagnosed with COVID-19 infection,” Assistant Director (Health) of Khulna division Dr. Ferdousi Akhter told BSS this noon.
The health officials said among the newly detected 39 COVID-19 patients 20 are in Khulna, 15 in Bagerhat and four in Kushtia districts in the division.

KHULNA, Apr 21, 2021 (BSS) –The number of coronavirus (COVID-19) cases rapidly reached 30,046 today due to continuous rise in the daily number of lethal virus infections in recent weeks in all ten districts of the division.
“The number of COVID-19 patients climbed to 30,046 with 184 new infections diagnosed after testing 250 samples on Wednesday at three COVID-19 Laboratories in the division,” Assistant Director (Health) of Khulna division Dr. Ferdousi Akhter told BSS this noon.
“The daily infections rate crossed the 12 percent mark on March 24 last for the first time since December 26 last year and continues to rise in the division,” she said.

KHULNA, April 20, 2021 (BSS) – The number of COVID-19 cases has surged to 29,862 today due to continuous rise in the daily number of the lethal virus infections in recent weeks in all ten districts of the division.
“The number of patients climbed to 29,862 with 219 new infections reported after testing 350 samples on Tuesday at three COVID-19 laboratories in the division,” Assistant Director (Health) of Khulna division Dr. Ferdousi Akhter told BSS this noon.
The health officials said the newly detected COVID-19 patients are 95 in Jashore, 75 in Khulna, 16 in Kushtia, eight in Bagerhat , seven in Jhenaidah, five in Narail four each in Chuadanga and Magura, two in Meherpur and three in Satkhira district in the division.
