International Women s Day 2021 is Monday, and while it s easy to order from a fabulous, female-owned restaurant in this town, some chefs are saving you from the burden of choice with the AZ Women in Food event. MESA, AZ â The same day that parts of Arizona saw rain, hail, graupel, and snow a seemingly unusual, yet not entirely uncommon combination of weather in the southwest Gus s World Famous Fried Chicken opened its doors in downtown Mesa, its first location in the state. That was kind of crazy, Wendy McCrory, president of Gusâs franchising, told ABC15 on Tuesday about the weather. But it gave us something to talk about.
