ROCKLAND Located on Orient Street, this summer’s newest mural was initiated by the Rock City Employee Cooperative with a request and invitation to the Arts in Action Community Mural program to create an original public artwork for the exterior of Hello Hello Books and Rock City Café.
Local youth from Oceanside High School (enrolled in AiA s Mural Program) formed a design crew and spent the winter and spring of this year in a workshop developing collaborative concepts on the theme of Coming Together presented by Ryan Jackson of the Rock City Employee Cooper

Mayor James Davis has announced that contractors will start street paving and striping in mid-April.
“Maintaining streets is one of the most important responsibilities of local government,” Davis said. “The City of Bayonne has put a lot of effort into financing and planning street paving for the spring and summer of 2021. We have also planned the re-striping, or line painting, of most of Avenue C. Our residents should notice significant improvements on many streets throughout the community during 2021.”

A woman and her young child suffered through a terrifying ordeal after a stranger entered their car and demanded they fuel up and drive him away.
At 8.30pm on Friday, a woman and her six-year-old child were leaving a car park in the NSW south coast town of Batemans Bay, when a man approached.
The man allegedly entered the car on Orient Street and forced the woman to drive him to a club in Catalina.
