Brandon Gonsalves
The mystery surrounding the brutal murder of 22-year-old college student, Brandon Gonsalves, has remained unsolved even after four years of investigation, with the Mumbai Police finally filing a closure report in the case.
The Aarey police that probed the blind murder of 2016 submitted an A Summary report in the court recently. Such a report is filed when the offence is made out but the evidence is untraceable or the accused are not found. This, in other words, means the investigation has been stopped and the case closed.
Gonsalves, a resident of Goregaon West, had gone for a
morning walk on December 19, 2016. He used to usually go to the Aarey Colony and return home within an hour or so. However, that day, he never came back.
