Death of New Haven man, 21, declared city s 7th homicide of the year

NEW HAVEN A 21-year-old city man found dead Monday has been declared the seventh homicide victim of the year in New Haven, according to police.
His passing, initially considered an untimely death, has now been declared a homicide.
“All updates will follow as more information is gathered,” Kendall said. “The investigation is ongoing and anyone with information is asked to contact the New Haven Police Department Investigative Services Division at (203) 946-6304. Tips and all information can be provided anonymously.”

Officers responded to the area of Farnam Drive and Orange Street Monday morning.
Police blocked off the intersection and closed off parts of the park.
