IndiGo will begin its operations to three southern cities from the Kurnool Airport under the ‘Ude Desh ka Aam Naagrik’ (UDAN) scheme from March 28.
The airport, developed by the Andhra Pradesh Airports Development Corporation Limited, formerly known as Bhogapuram International Airport Company, had received the DGCA approval on January 15.
TruJet is another operator that has been permitted to operate its flights from the airport. IndiGo, in a release from New Delhi, said it would operate flights between Kurnool and Bengaluru, Visakhapatnam and Chennai under the regional connectivity scheme.

Kurnool Airport, which got the DGCA approval on January 15 will see the IndiGo Airlines beginning its operations from March 28 to three southern cities under UDAN (Ude Desh ka Aam Naagrik) Scheme.
TrueJet is the operator, which has got permission to operate its flights from this airport developed by the Andhra Pradesh Airports Development Corporation Limited, formerly known as Bhogapuram International Airport Company.

New Delhi [India], January 2 (ANI): On the lines of the Sabarmati riverfront in Gujarat, the Yamuna riverfront here in Delhi is likely to begin seaplane services soon, officials said on Saturday.
The Union Ministry of Ports, Shipping, and Waterways has sought information in detail from interested companies on the subject.
The Ministry said the services of seaplane will be added to the nearby states of Delhi. According to Sagarmala Development Company Limited (SDCL), Ayodhya in Uttar Pradesh and Tehri and Srinagar in Uttarakhand can be included in the seaplane route.
