Elfie Frampton, 13, from Owermoigne near Dorchester, is halfway through her fundraising challenge for the British Heart Foundation. The British Heart foundation is a charity which is very important to Elfie since both of her grandfathers died of heart attacks. Elfie, who goes to Clayesmore School, said that one of her grandfathers passed away at the age of 52, and she has recently lost her other grandfather, Alfred Frampton, at the age of 79. She decided to run the 131km distance by adding their ages together.
