Seven Arrested Following Graphic Protest At Police Union Building

Credit NOISE Omaha Seven people are under arrest after a group left pig heads outside the Omaha police union building.  Police say the incident took place on Saturday when dozens of people gathered in the Omaha Police Officer s Association s parking lot near 134th Street and Cryer Avenue.  Authorities say the group of demonstrators left three severed pig heads wearing police hats in the parking lot, and those who were arrested face charges including failure to disperse, trespassing and unlawful assembly.  The incident took place following what was advertised as a pig roast at Montclair Park. Indiana Man Arrested for Several Burglary Incidents in Stuart

An Indiana man faces multiple felony charges from a series of incidents in Stuart last month. According to the department, 21-year-old Kenya Jenkins, Jr. was arrested in Omaha, Nebraska in connection to a series of alleged vehicle burglaries that took place in Stuart on March 12th. During the incidents, police reported several items were stolen, including credit cards, a checkbook and a firearm from three unlocked vehicles. The police department notes that the firearm was later used when Jenkins allegedly shot an Omaha Police Officer.  Jenkins faces charges from the vehicle burglaries, including a Class C Felony for trafficking stolen firearms, three aggravated misdemeanors for third degree burglary of a motor vehicle, an aggravated misdemeanor for unauthorized use of a credit card, two serious misdemeanors for third degree attempted burglary, a serious misdemeanor for fourth degree theft and a simple misdemeanor for fifth degree theft.

Man charged in OPD officer s shooting now facing charges out of Iowa Share Updated: 8:16 PM CDT Apr 12, 2021 KETV Staff Report Share Updated: 8:16 PM CDT Apr 12, 2021 KETV Staff Report The Stuart Iowa Police Department announced Monday that it had filed several charges against an Indiana man, Kenya Lamont Jenkins, Jr, 21, for several vehicle thefts and burglaries in early March.According to the department: On the morning of March 12th, 2021 Jenkins was in Stuart and allegedly committed several vehicle burglaries. During these burglaries, several items were stolen from three unlocked vehicles including credit cards, a checkbook, and a firearm. At least one of the credit cards was used to purchase gasoline in Stuart. The firearm is believed to have later been used in the assault on the Omaha Police Officer. This case is not related to another series of vehicle burglaries and vehicle thefts that occurred in Stuart on March 22nd, 2
