The founder and CEO of Brooklyn-based Trade Street Jam Co. says her team saw “insane growth” between January and June, with monthly sales skyrocketing from $1,500 to $80,000, and she was hanging on by a thread to keep up. “At the beginning of June, I was 8 months pregnant and swollen all over,” Rouse recalls. “I was up day and night fulfilling packages with my husband, mom, and a team of two, trying desperately to keep up with these blessings that I had prayed for for so long. But I. Was. Tired!”

Princeton University Awards Bon Jovi with Honorary Degree Congratulations to New Jersey native Bon Jovi who was just awarded with an honorary degree from Princeton University. The rock star, along with 5 others accepted their awards last week at Princeton s graduation ceremony. According to Patch, Bon Jovi was conferred the Doctor of Music Degree. He wasn t able to attend the outdoor ceremony so he graciously accepted in absentia. Jovi is being recognized for his contributions to the community as a philanthropist. The university described him as thoughtful for his Soul Foundation he started back in 2006, that aimed to break the cycle of hunger, poverty and homelessness.

Network Norfolk : Soul Foundation passes a milestone with two million meals

The Norfolk and Norwich Christian community website Soul Foundation passes a two million milestone   The Norwich-based Soul Foundation has now delivered two million meals since the pandemic began. The foundation supports vulnerable people through organisations such as YMCA Norfolk, homeless hostels and schools, as well as reaching a number of individuals and families.   Alongside individual donors, those who have supported the foundation so far include Norwich City Football Club, Norwich School, UEA, Chartwells (Compass Group), Boswell Insurance, Bidwells, Tofuerai and Banham Poultry.    Just before Easter, Jon and Chantel Norman, pastors of Soul Church, received a cheque for £5,000 from Clare School in Norwich, from money raised during a ‘superhero’ fundraiser.
