On May 7, 2021, the International Center for Settlement of Investment Disputes (ICSID) confirmed the arbitral award that had been rendered, in favor of Sodexo, on January 28, 2019, in the context of its dispute with the Hungarian State initiated in 2014, related to changes in the regulatory and fiscal environment in Hungary concerning issuance of food and meal vouchers.
The arbitral ruling ordering the Hungarian State to pay Sodexo 73 million euros of damages, is now final and binding.
Sodexo welcomes this ultimate arbitral ruling which confirms, as per international law, the obligation of the Hungarian state to compensate Sodexo, and will ensure, by all legal available means to obtain its execution.

Issy-les-Moulineaux, May 10, 2021 - Today, Sodexo is announcing the launch of La Passerelle, a new economic model that seeks to have greater impact on employability, health through food and social cohesion in priority neighborhoods. La Passerelle is first and foremost about centers located at the heart of the city, where several activities are brought together around a vegetable processing plant and a community space. The first La Passerelle center has been successful in the Quartiers Fertiles (Fertile Neighborhoods) call for projects competition led by the National Urban Renewal Agency. It will open in Clichy-sous-Bois, in the Paris area, in 2022. A further ten similar projects are set to be launched by 2025.

Railserve and Focused Technology Solutions (FTS) have developed the solar-powered Derail Light, 150 of which Railserve will install this quarter to improve derail device visibility in rail yards.
Compatible with both sliding and hinge derails, the light identifies derail location and offers a patent-pending, cloud-based interface that allows for “automatic reporting to any smart device to detect the position of the derail and to help prevent accidents,” reported FTS and Railserve, Marmon/Berkshire Hathaway companies.
