Four Schools In School District 27 Will Have New Principals.

School District 27 announced today (May 26) that four schools will have new principals.
Elaine Colgate will be rejoining the District to take on the position at Mile 108 Elementary.
Colgate served SD27 as Principal of Marie Sharpe, Cataline, and Alexis Creek schools.
Shawn Nelson who has been serving as Vice-Principal at 100 Mile House Elementary since 2016 will be the Principal of Lac La Hache Elementary.
Kimberly Ikebuchi, who’s has been the Learning Support Teacher at Tatla Lake, Anahim Lake, and Alexis Creek Elementary-Junior Secondary schools since 2020, will be the new Principal at Tatla Lake Elementary Junior Secondary.

BROSSARD, Que. Carey Price likes to do his talking on the ice, but the man of few words uttered four this past Sunday that perfectly encapsulated what’s at stake for him as the Montreal Canadiens prepare for their Stanley Cup Playoff series against the Toronto Maple Leafs.
“It’s a golden opportunity,” he said.
How many more will Price have while he’s still capable of authoring the performances that have him revered by his teammates and feared by his opponents? He’s 33, playing in just his third series since 2015 and behind a team with internal expectations that haven’t been higher since his very first season with the organization.
Province provides $2.3 million in funding for six new tourism developments in the Cariboo

Six new tourism developments are coming to the Cariboo Chilcotin Coast Tourism Association (CCCTA).
$2.3 million is coming to the CCCTA from the province as a part of BC’s Economic Recovery Plan. CCCTA CEO Amy Thacker says six projects have been approved, including:
Great Bear Rainforest Marine Trail and Indigenous Development Project: Assist Coastal First Nations in the creation of a network of shore accessible campsites and recreation areas, and support the development of community paddling centres to develop visitor experiences like adventure guiding, wildlife viewing, eco-tourism, and Indigenous cultural experience. -$705,293
