Usually, their training would take place in swimming pools, but they are closed because of public health restrictions. They ve all had their wetsuits out since before St Patrick s Day, and they ve been in and out of the water every weekend, he said.

Justin “Shuba” Ardagh, 25, died at the Renown Regional Medical Center in Reno, Nevada, after sustaining critical head injuries, police said.
Stephen Andrew Lally, 32, was arrested following the incident for suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol and for a hit-and-run charge, according to police.
The incident happened around 10:30 p.m. April 14. Truckee police have said they responded to reports of a vehicle collision near Bridge and Jibboom streets, finding Ardagh unconscious on the ground. He was immediately transported to an emergency facility for treatment, and was later moved to the medical center.
A man has died of his injuries after being struck by a vehicle last week in downtown Truckee, authorities said.
Justin “Shuba” Ardagh, 25, of Truckee, was pronounced dead over the weekend at the Renown Regional Medical Center in Reno, Nevada. Ardagh died as a result of extensive head injuries suffered from the collision, police Sgt. Lisa Madden said.
Stephen Andrew Lally, 32, was arrested Wednesday evening and booked into the Nevada County Jail on two felonies: hit-and-run and driving under the influence of alcohol, authorities have said.
Initially held on $750,000 in bond, Lally was free on bond Monday, reports state.
According to police, the incident occurred around 10:30 p.m. Wednesday near the intersection of Bridge and Jibboom streets. Officers arriving on the scene discovered Ardagh, who had been rendered unconscious by the collision.
A Truckee man remained held under bond Thursday after authorities say he struck a pedestrian, who has been hospitalized with life-threatening injuries.
Stephen Andrew Lally, 32, will be charged with one felony count of hit-and-run and one felony count of driving under the influence, according to the Nevada County Sheriff’s Office.
Around 10:30 p.m. Wednesday Lally struck a man with his red Subaru near the intersection of Bridge and Jibboom streets in downtown Truckee. Lally then fled the scene in his vehicle, but was apprehended a short time later, according to Truckee Police Sgt. Lisa Madden.
Police officers who arrested Lally for the hit-and-run discovered enough evidence to book him for driving under the influence of alcohol as well, Madden added.
