After the insurrection at the Capitol on Jan. 6 where the protesters tried to stop a constitutionally mandated action by the Congress, desecrated parts of the Capitol, murdered a police officer and critically injured others, I have to wonder if Gov. Greg Abbott is naïve or just stupid. The insurrectionists are our neighbors, police officers and armed services members.
