Rochester Public Schools to launch online learning program this fall
This K-12 program will allow RPS to personalize learning to meet the needs of students.

ROCHESTER, Minn. - Rochester Public Schools recognize one size does not fit all when it comes to learning, so the district is launching an all-new online learning system set to begin this fall.
Assistant principal Chris Fogarty says Rochester Public Schools has been talking about building an online learning platform for nearly a decade. The pandemic gave them the push they needed as it forced teachers to adapt to an online learning system.

LP-A s Frank is a finalist for Minnesota Teacher of the Year
Kristen Frank, a third grade teacher at Lake Park-Audubon Elementary School in Audubon, has been named as a finalist for 2021 Minnesota Teacher of the Year by Education Minnesota.
The 57th Minnesota Teacher of the Year will be chosen from a field of 75 candidates. These candidates have accepted their nominations and completed the required materials to become eligible for the honor. Eligible candidates include pre-kindergarten through 12th grade, Early Childhood Family Education and Adult Basic Education teachers, from public or private schools.
