UNSW appoints MediaMonks as digital transformation partner January 28, 2021 9:26 Following a competitive pitch, MediaMonks Australia, the creative digital production arm of Sir Martin Sorrell’s S4 Capital, has been appointed as the single partner of record by the University of New South Wales (UNSW) for its Adobe Experience Cloud implementation. UNSW Sydney selected Adobe technology for its digital transformation project in 2018 and appointed a panel of Adobe partners to proceed with the initiative. MediaMonks worked as part of that panel during 2019 and 2020. The university has now decided that for the next stage of transformation to work with a single partner to drive its transformation agenda, and held a pitch to determine which agency that would be.

Newtown Florist Club to release Black Business Director

As part of Monday s celebration of Martin Luther King, Jr. s birthday, the Newtown Florist Club of Gainesville revealed plans to release a Black Business Directory, featuring black-owned businesses, non-profits and other resources to spur economic parity within the Black community.  Rev. Rose Johnson, the Executive Director of the Newtown Florist Club, said the project has been in the works since 2017. One of our priority economic justice projects for the past three years has been the research, development and preparation of our Black Business Directory, Johnson said during the online MLK celebration. There is an exciting and dynamic committee of members who have worked hard to bring this [project] ready for release.

Bridport Ladies FC makes their way to Wembley and back to support NHS staff

A LADIES football team has walked the equivalent of going to Wembley and back four times to raise funds for NHS staff following their hard work during the coronavirus pandemic. During the second national lockdown, with all non-professional football not permitted, Bridport Ladies FC decided to use their time away from pitch to make a difference within the community. Together, they came up with the idea to cover the distance from Bridport to Wembley Stadium and back on a weekly basis to raise funds for Dorset County Hospital Charities. The ladies covered the 1,193 mile distance over a month long period, raising a total of £524 for their cause.
