If there’s one thing people look forward to when temperatures begin to rise and the days get lighter, it’s celebrating life at home, whether indoors or outside. In a nutshell, it’s really all about digging in to those things that make life more meaningful food, wine, entertaining and the art of design.
“There’s a real connection between design and the way people live,” says Calgary-based designer Sheri Bruneau, principal at Get It Together Designs. “I really see it with my renovation clients. They really had no idea what their home was like until they were forced to spend time in it with lockdown.”

We ve been documenting Cathie Wood s adventures in active management over at ARK Invest for the better part of the last year and a half now.
What started as a look into how the law of large numbers and Wood s popularity presented numerous pitfalls back in December 2020 has now become something of a financial world soap opera, with many observers watching ARK funds extremely closely as the NASDAQ teeters on the brink of a fever pitch and Tesla hits a patch of rocky road in China.

Navigating large ships past the sandbars and shallows of the Delaware was always a difficult task. After Philadelphia was founded in the 17th century, deep water captains began to hire Lewes pilots, whose knowledge of the local waters enabled them to guide vessels to the City of Brotherly Love.
In the 19th century, pilots were organized into small groups who purchased schooners that normally carried six pilots. These picturesque sailing vessels cruised the waters off Cape Henlopen for a week at a time in search of ships needing a pilot.
When a vessel was sighted, the pilot schooner sailed to within a short distance of the ship, and a skiff carrying the pilot rowed over to the ship.
