Building materials producer Siniat Romania eyes 10% rise in turnover in 2021 Etex plant in Turceni

BUCHAREST (Romania), February 11 (SeeNews) - Belgian-owned building materials producer Siniat Romania, also known as Etex Building Performance, expects its turnover to rise by 5-10% this year, up to 275 million lei ($68 million/ 56 million euro), it said on Thursday.
In 2021, Siniat also plans to invest 5-6 million euro in a gypsum drying installation at the Rovinari thermal power plant in order to ensure the continued supply of raw material to its gypsum board factory in Turceni, the company said in a press release.
The company grew its turnover by 6% last year, to 250 million lei, as a result of its parent group Etex s new global business strategy to invest more and more in the production of drywall.
