Mateo and Lenny got the chance to chat with Billy Cardone and Keely Davenport from Exit 82 Theater to get all the details before the event.Toms River Pride is free and everyone is welcomed to attend from 11am to 5pm. There will be live performances at Exit 82 Theater along with plenty of food vendors and shopping opportunities.The special part about this year's Pride Festival is that they are honoring New Jersey's LGBTQ+ advocates and allies in the community with the Pride Advocate Award.

2021 Twin Cities Pride Festival set for July
The 49th Annual Pride Festival will be hosted in Loring Park on July 17-18. There is no parade currently planned.

MINNEAPOLIS The Twin Cities Pride Festival is officially returning to Loring Park this summer. After being cancelled last year due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the 49th annual celebration of the LGBTQ+ community will be held July 17-18 from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
“We are thrilled with the Governor’s new guidance affecting events,” said Twin Cities Pride Executive Director Dot Belstler in a press release. “It means large outdoor events, including our largest fundraiser, the Pride Festival, can happen again! Our primary concern is for the health of the LGBTQ+ community, which is more likely to be affected by COVID and other health concerns, so there will be some modifications to the traditional layout.”

On Thursday, Joe Biden announced that Boston Mayor Marty Walsh will be his nominee for United States secretary of labor. His appointment to the Cabinet is expected to be confirmed by the U.S. Senate.
Walsh s Background -First elected as the city s chief executive in November 2013 and re-elected in 2017, Walsh has served as Mayor of Boston since his first inauguration on Jan. 6, 2014.
Prior to his tenure as mayor, Walsh, 53, served from April 1997 to January 2014 as a representative in the Massachusetts General Court (the State Legislature), elected from the 13th Suffolk District.
