The Late Late Show host got to hold a replica of George Washington s sword that John F Kennedy presented to Eamon de Valera back in 1963.
Taking to Instagram he said: So today s school tour is the National Museum of Ireland Collins Barracks. Look at this place, it s extraordinary. There s so much history civil war, war of independence, freedom of Ireland, art, design, it s all here.
