Superintendent Abid Khan was this week welcomed as Operations Manager at Greenbank Police Station in Blackburn, where he will oversee policing in Burnley, Hyndburn, Pendle, the Ribble Valley and his home borough of Rossendale. Supt Khan grew up in town of Haslingden, where he began his career as a police officer before quickly working his way through the ranks.
