Performance Track Day, the track driving experience company started by ex-Corvette Racing driver Johnny O’Connell and fellow wheelman Darren Law, is set to host a star-studded event at the National Corvette Museum Motorsports Park this June.
The two-day track driving event will allow sports car owners to take their own vehicle on track under the guidance of professional race car drivers, giving them to capability to experience the car’s full potential in a controlled environment. Attendees will receive both on and off-track instruction from an all-star cast of Corvette Racing alumni, including Jan Magnussen, Corvette Hall of Fame driver Andy Pilgrim and current Corvette factory driver Jordan Taylor. O’Connell, co-founder of Performance Track Day, was also a longtime GM factory racing driver and has won for both Corvette Racing and Cadillac Racing.
