NEW extra-care apartments in Saughall Massie are now open for virtual or physical visits by potential future residents. The 78 new care apartments, Poppyfields, will be run by housing association Alpha Living for people over 55 looking to still live independently but with care and support when needed. The apartments have sociable facilities including a restaurant providing cooked meals for residents, hair and beauty salon, residents lounge, shared activities space and a courtyard garden. Andy Keelan, Development Manager based at the scheme, said: “This innovative development will provide families of residents with the peace of mind that their loved ones are safe and secure and have access to all the help and care they may need now or in the future.”
