A drive through any of the commercial areas of the city shows you that most advertising is printed or digital, is two-dimensional, and features slogans and logos to grab your attention. But if you pay attention, some locally-owned, independent businesses opt for something a bit different. If you look up, you’ll see … a thing. Sometimes the object makes sense: a cow at Cowtown; a rocket on top of the Mercury Cafe. Or humorous: an animated runner at Flaman Fitness. Or classy, like the truck at Luiggi’s.
