Georgia adds West Virginia’s Jahmile Addae as Defensive Backs Coach Photo: 247Sports
ATHENS, Ga. – Jahmile Addae (juh-Mile uh-Die), defensive backs coach at West Virginia the last two seasons, has been named the defensive backs coach at the University of Georgia, according to announcement Wednesday from Bulldog head coach Kirby Smart.
“We are excited to add Jahmile to our staff and to welcome he and his family to Athens,” said UGA head coach Kirby Smart. “Having been an all-conference safety himself while playing for West Virginia, we feel like Jahmile will boost our team both as a former player who understood the game as well as with his knowledge from coaching at a high level over the last decade.”

MEMPHIS, Tenn. (AP) Reserve quarterback Austin Kendall threw a 20-yard touchdown pass to T.J. Simmons with 5:10 left and West Virginia held off Army 24-21 on Thursday in the Liberty Bowl.
Army (9-3) had a chance to tie it with 1:50 left, but Quinn Maretzki’s 39-yard field goal was wide left. Josh Chandler ended Army’s final possession with an interception, and led the Mountaineers (9-3) with 13 tackles.
Simmons also scored on a 5-yard pass from starting quarterback Jarret Doege.
Army quarterback Tyhier Tyler had three rushing touchdowns – from 1, 6, and 2 yards – to tie a Liberty Bowl record.

The college football bowl schedule on New Year’s Eve kicks off at noon ET on ESPN with the Lockheed Martin Armed Forces Bowl at Amon G. Carter Stadium in Fort Worth, Texas. The contest features the 24th-ranked Tulsa Golden Hurricane of the American taking on the Mississippi State Bulldogs of the SEC.
At 2:00pm ET on CBS, the Offerpad Arizona Bowl at Arizona Stadium in Tucson, Ariz., kicks off. The Ball State Cardinals from the MAC take on the 22nd-ranked San Jose State Spartans of the Mountain West in that contest.
