South Long Lake Church services

Unitarian Universalist churches to co-sponsor service
Northwoods Unitarian Universalist Fellowship, Mesabi UU and Unitarian Church of Underwood to co-sponsor a 10 a.m. March 14 service called “Dance in the Desert, Bring Your Tambourine.
After a year of pandemic life, Unitarian Universalist Rev. Erin Walter will reflect (and sing about) how we may endure ongoing isolation and struggle while also embracing moments of love and joy along the way.

Lord of Life Lutheran Church welcomes congregation back to in-building worship
BAXTER Sunday, Feb. 7, marked the return to in-building worship at Lord of Life Lutheran Church in Baxter.
About 35 worshipers attended the service and were greeted by Senior Pastor Steven Rye, who presided over the service and said in his sermon that both the decision to return to in-building worship and the decision to remain at distance for most of 2020 came from a love of Lord of Life’s congregation and the community.
For the immediate future, in-building services at Lord of Life will be 9 a.m. Sundays, with the exception of an Ash Wednesday service the evening of 7 p.m. Feb. 17. At this time, no reservations are required to attend, but the church is continuing to monitor the situation and will make changes as needed to ensure the safety of the congregation.

This week at Trinity
Trinity Lutheran Church, 1420 S. Sixth St., Brainerd, Street will have two indoor worship services 6 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 27, and 9 a.m. Sunday, Jan. 31 with Intern Matthew Engum preaching.
Holy Communion will be served. The Sunday service will be broadcast live on KVBR 1340 and livestreamed on YouTube and posted on Facebook and on the Trinity website.
There will be a drive-up blessing and Holy Communion from 10:15-10:45 a.m. Sunday.
Education Hour will begin at 9:45 a.m.

Lord of Life Lutheran Church events
BAXTER Lord of Life Lutheran Church, 6190 Fairview Road, Baxter, will have a virtual Christmas Eve candlelight worship service noon Thursday, Dec. 24, on YouTube and will be available to view any time after the premiere. The link is

Bethlehem Lutheran Church services
Bethlehem Lutheran Church, 418 Eighth Ave. NE, Brainerd, a communion service will be livestreamed at 3 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 24. Drive-in services with communion will be offered at 5 p.m. and 6:30 p.m. Arrive early, stay in the car and park in the designated area. Pastor Mark Skinner will be preaching at all three services. Prelude for all of the services will begin 15 minutes prior to the start time.
