Dog tags, turtle shells, spark plug found inside South Carolina alligator s stomach

It was an interesting assortment of items that workers at a Ravenel, South Carolina butcher and taxidermy shop reportedly found inside the stomach of a 12-foot alligator killed by a Lowcountry hunter.
A Facebook post by the owner of Cordray’s, where the alligator was taken for processing, said his team found five dog tags, a shell casing, turtle shells, several bobcat claws, and even a spark plug inside the alligator’s stomach.
WCSC 5 News reported the 445-pound gator was killed by Ned McNeely, owner of the Adams Run property where he found it. McNeely said he has “several alligator tags you apply for with the state,” which the report said are dispersed by South Carolina” based on the acreage” hunters have, as well as “alligator population.”
