The Switzerland County Pacer boys varsity basketball team was supposed to open its season against Lawrenceburg on Tuesday, November 24th.
The Tigers advancement in the IHSAA state football tournament caused that game to be delayed, and it was finally played this past Saturday night.
The young Pacer charges held firm throughout the contest and kept battling, but the veteran Lawrenceburg team slowly pulled away throughout the game, and won by a final score of 52-37.
The first period was closely played, with Lawrenceburg outscoring Switzerland County by just a 13-10 margin.
