The 24-hour news cycle is not just exhausting; it can be traumatic so much so that researchers believe watching violent videos causes symptoms of post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD). Even people who view videos of merely confrontational situations suffer, according to the Dr. Margo Jacquot, founder of the Juniper Center, a Chicago-area counseling agency.
New ordinance in Sacramento unfairly restricts massage spas, says community members

SACRAMENTO, Calif. The Sacramento City Council passed a new ordinance Tuesday which will require all massage spas across the city to get a business permit to operate and follow a new list of rules or face penalties.
The ordinance would require any massage spa to make sure they have things like adequate outdoor lighting, they need visibility into lobbies, meaning no more black bars on windows or curtains and no one would be allowed to sleep overnight at these businesses.
“We convey our heartfelt condolences to the families of those who lost their lives in the shocking shooting incident at FedEx facility in Indianapolis and pray for the speedy recovery of those injured,” Indian Embassy said in a statement on Friday night.
